Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun
This amulet-style pendant is handcrafted by Taoist artisans. The enamel shell is carved from an alloy and coated with durable enamel, ensuring its color lasts for years (note: the color may oxidize naturally).
Obverse: This depicts the orthodox Taoist deity, "Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun." Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun, also known as Lingbao Tianzun, is the second of the "Three Pure Ones," the highest deity in Taoism. He resides in the Shangqing Realm, the second level of the Three Pure Ones Heaven. He is another important embodiment of the Dao, symbolizing the transition from the chaotic origin (Yuanshi) to the orderly laws (Jingjiao). If Yuanshi Tianzun is the "Founder" of the universe, Lingbao Tianzun is its "Educator" and "Redeemer."
- Spiritual Meaning: An orthodox Taoist deity, "Bixia Yuanjun," Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun plays the role of "Originator of Jingjiao" and "Deity of Salvation" in Taoism. He transforms the supreme Dao into tangible compassion and wisdom, educating and redeeming all living beings through scriptures, rituals, and magic. For Taoists, chanting the name of Lingbao Tianzun or practicing the Lingbao Sutras is not only for personal cultivation, but also for participating in his great vow to save all beings.
Reverse: Engraved with the Taoist Hetu Luoshu.
Small yet powerful, this pendant makes a meaningful gift or a personal amulet.
