About TaoistYuan

Taoistyuan originates from the thousand-year-old Zhengyi lineage of Longhu Mountain, the ancestral home of Chinese Taoism. It was founded by Taoist Master Yi Yuan, the 67th direct descendant. We inherit the Zhengyi mystical spirit, which dates back to the founding of the sect by its founder, Tianshi Zhang Daoling. Based on the "Zhengyi Mengwei Dao," we uphold the principle of "passing on the source of Taoism and benefiting the world," integrating Taoist wisdom with contemporary life.

Inheritance and Practice

As a disciple of the Zhengyi School, Taoist Master Yi Yuan strictly adheres to ancestral rituals, inheriting core Taoist practices such as talismans, fasting and offering sacrifices, and thunder magic. He also cultivates sacred texts such as the "Duren Jing" and the "Tao Te Ching." The Longhu Mountain Zhengyi lineage emphasizes "observing precepts and practicing good deeds, achieving the unity of heaven and man," focusing on the integration of internal alchemy and external talisman techniques. Purifying the body and mind to connect with the heavenly way and protect all living beings with the power of Tao.

First Wish: For the Eternal Presence of the Dharma: To safeguard the orthodox Daoist tradition, pass down the classics, transmit ordination, and ensure the continued existence of the Daoist lineage;

Second Wish: For the Well-being of All: To use Taoist medicine, health techniques, and blessing rituals to help alleviate disasters and increase blessings and wisdom;

Third Wish: To Transform the World: To integrate Taoist philosophy into modern life, promoting a state of life that is harmonious with nature and a spiritually enlightened state.

Taoistyuan is both a place for practical practice and a window to the world. Grounded in ancient Taoist wisdom, we embody the spirit of "the great way is simple." We wish to explore the true meaning of life with those who share our destiny and to witness the Dao's natural laws.
