Emperor Haotian
This amulet-style pendant is handcrafted by Taoist artisans. The enamel shell is carved from an alloy and coated with durable enamel, ensuring its color lasts for years (note: the color may oxidize naturally).
Obverse: The orthodox Taoist deity, "Haotian Dadi." Haotian Dadi, also known as "Haotian Shangdi" or "Huangtian Shangdi," is the supreme deity in ancient Chinese religious beliefs. He is the personification of the sky, the ruler and creator of all things in the universe, and represents the highest order, morality, and authority.
- Spiritual Significance: Haotian Dadi, an orthodox Taoist deity, was the highest deity officially worshipped by the Chinese nation, especially during the Zhou Dynasty and later, before the formation of Taoism and the introduction of Buddhism. He is not a product of the Taoist pantheon, but rather stems from much older nature worship and belief in the Emperor of Heaven.
Reverse: Engraved with the Taoist Hetu Luoshu.
Small yet powerful, this pendant makes a meaningful gift or a personal amulet.
