Obverse: This depicts the orthodox Taoist deity, "Hua Guang Emperor." Also known as Lingguan Ma Yuanshuai, Hua Guang Tianwang, Hua Guang Emperor, Sanyan Lingguang, and Ma Tianjun, Hua Guang is one of the Four Protectors of Daoism. He is the God of Fire in mythology and legend, and a widely worshipped deity. In ancient times, he was a deity worshipped by those working in the scaffolding, ceramics, and martial arts industries. Legend has it that his original name was Ma Lingyao, and because he was born with three eyes, he was also known as "Ma Wangye Sanzhiyan."
- Spiritual Significance: Hua Guang Emperor, an orthodox Taoist deity and a great guardian deity, is primarily responsible for eliminating demons and monsters and ensuring peace and security.
